NDIS Support Coordinator Salary: Hourly to Annual Guide
For a full-time NDIS support coordinator working 38 hours per week, the annual salary is the hourly rate multiplied by 38 hours per week and 52 weeks per year, with superannuation paid on top.
Understanding the NDIS Support Coordinator Salary
NDIS support coordinators are covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS Award). This award sets minimum wages for social and community services employees, including those working in disability services. The national minimum wage from 1 July 2026 is $26.44 per hour for 38 hours per week, but award rates are higher for most support coordinators. For example, a Level 2 pay point 4 employee under the award (as shown in the Fair Work Ombudsman pay guide ) would have a weekly rate that translates to an hourly rate above the minimum. Actual pay depends on your classification, experience, and whether you are full-time, part-time, or casual.
How to Convert Hourly to Annual
To estimate your annual salary, use the formula: hourly rate × hours per week × 52 weeks. For a full-time NDIS support coordinator working 38 hours per week, this gives your gross annual pay before tax and super. For example, if your hourly rate is $35.00:
- Weekly: $35.00 × 38 = $1,330.00
- Fortnightly: $1,330.00 × 2 = $2,660.00
- Annual: $1,330.00 × 52 = $69,160.00
If you are part-time, use your actual weekly hours. The the timesheet on this site lets you enter your base hourly rate and choose to add casual loading if applicable.
Award Coverage and Minimum Rates
The SCHADS Award requires a minimum of 38 hours per week for full-time employees. Casual employees receive a 25% loading on top of the base rate. The minimum engagement for social and community services employees (including disability support workers) is 3 hours per shift. For all other employees, it is 2 hours. Salary packaging is allowed under the award.
Tax and Superannuation
Your annual gross salary is subject to Australian resident tax for 2026–27: nil up to $18,200; 15% from $18,201 to $45,000; 30% from $45,001 to $135,000; 37% from $135,001 to $190,000; 45% above $190,000. Medicare levy is generally 2%. Superannuation guarantee is 12% of ordinary earnings, paid on top of your salary, up to the maximum contribution base of $270,830. For a $69,160 annual salary, super would be approximately $8,299.20 per year.
Using the Timesheet
The the timesheet on this site calculates your annual, fortnightly, and weekly pay from your hourly rate. It assumes 38 hours per week for full-time. If you are casual, check the box to add 25% loading. Do not enter a rate that already includes loading. The calculator then estimates tax and super based on the on-site reference figures.
Important Notes
This estimate assumes the same rate every week, no unpaid overtime, no penalty rates, no allowances, and no salary sacrifice. Super is estimated at 12% of ordinary earnings only, paid on top, and stops at the $270,830 maximum contribution base. Tax uses the 2026–27 resident scale with full tax-free threshold. Medicare uses the 2025–26 single reduction thresholds because the 2026–27 reduction thresholds were not confirmed here. HELP, the Medicare levy surcharge, and salary packaging are not deducted. This is an estimate, not a determination of your pay or tax.
Open the same rate on the home timesheet. Read the reference tables before treating a figure as your pay.
